Forklift Training

Lift Truck Novice Training (Counter Balance)

Duration: 5 Days

Entry Requirements:

Candidates must be medically fit to operate a Lift Truck

Objectives:

To gain the certification required, end testing, to operate a Lift Truck  in a safe, efficient manner as laid down by The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974

Content:

Our test syllabus to include:

  • Health & Safety at work
  • Safety Codes of Practice
  • Safe operating procedures
  • Hydraulics systems
  • Loading/unloading of vehicles
  • Manoeuvering exercises
  • Pallet Handling

Note:

This course can be offered on the clients own premises using their own vehicles. Maximum course loading 3:1 Instructor /Trainee ratio

Lift Truck Refresher Training (Counter Balance)

Duration: 1-2 Days (See Entry Requirements)

Entry Requirements:

For operators holding a current certificate at the time of training (1 Day) or previously certificated and experienced operators whose certificates have time expired (2 Days).

Driver CPC Initial Tests (Module 2 & Module 4)

Content:

Module 2 Case Study Test

The first step to gaining your Initial Driver CPC Qualification is to take the Module 2 Case Study test. This is a computer based test and will be booked in the same place as the other theory tests.

Each test will be made up of 7 case studies, each one with 6-8 questions, with a possible maximum score of 50 (of which the pass mark will be 38). The test will take 1.5 hours to complete

Module 4 – Vehicle Checks/Safety Test:

Once you have passed the Module 2 Case Study you will need to take the Module 4 Vehicle Checks/Safety Test. This is a practical test and will take place at the LGV Test Centre in Grimsby.

The test consists of 5 topic areas which cover the Driver CPC syllabus and in order to pass the candidate has to score 15 out of a possible 20 points in each topic are (75%) and an overall score of 80%

Evans European Transport Ltd offer a ‘Module 4 Day’. This consists of 3.5 hours training in the morning (8.30am – 12.00pm), after which we will take you up to the test centre in Grimsby and then bring you back to our depot in Grimsby.

Driver CPC Periodic Training (Classroom)

Duration: 7 Hours

Entry Requirements:

Candidates must hold any of the below licences:

C1, C1E, C, CE, D1, D

Content: 11 modules available

Include : Drivers’ Hours Regulations, Haulage Operations: Road Freight Compliance, The Professional Driver, Health and Safety, Safe and Economic Driving (THEORY), Haulage Operations: Compliance & Enforcement, Analogue and Digital Tachographs, Emergency Actions, Load Safety, Vehicle Systems, On the Road.

 

Each one of our modules are 3.5 hours long so to make up the 7 hours CPC training we but combined two of the modules to make up the 7 hour course.

All modules are approved by Jaupt.
